On Device Portal
Racana offers an on-device-portal (ODP) solution that can connect to your existing content management system. The platform easily connects using an API and handles porting, testing and updates of the application for new devices, while minimizing duplicity of information and services as well as expense.

Racana offers a web-based, hosted SaaS solution to create or support an existing store, including storefront design and implementation. Robust content processing and delivery, together with comprehensive reporting and analytical tools, help optimize the marketing and distribution of digital content while ensuring accurate billing and settlement with consumers and partners.

Embedded on the user’s handset, the Racana storefront client offers full control over the customer user experience, including collecting the payment, download speed, application quality and more.

Racana’s embedded storefronts currently offer a multitude of services to ensure an almost immediate time-to-market, including: built-in downloads, catalog browsing (search, categories and dynamic categories), promotions (promoted content and banners), user rating, advertising and content segmentation per customer group.

The client application is available for download through a dedicated Web/WAP site and can easily be installed on the handset (or pre-embedded on the handset for operator subscribers).

The ODP store is available for all customers as defined by the storefront manager. Therefore, the store may be open to mobile subscribers of a specific operator or all interested customers.
